Redevelopment Services

These services are provided by PSEG Economic Development Services LLC and Stadtmauer Bailkin Biggins LLC.

This synergistic combination of experts works closely with clients, communities, developers, and landowners to create achievable Smart Growth development strategies and provide step-by-step implementation assistance. Our services harmonize Smart Growth with economic development planning, transportation, and land use, leading to successful real estate redevelopment that brings client visions to life.

By working together, communities, developers, and landowners can realize their visions while maximizing ratables and assets. This is accomplished in coordination and partnership with the New Jersey Department of Transportation, Commerce and Economic Growth Commission, Economic Development Authority, and Department of Environmental Protection. Smart Growth services fall into the three following categories which may be undertaken as a whole or as independent steps:

  • Creation, Review, and Evaluation
    This activity consist of reviewing and evaluating existing economic development plans, site conditions, real estate assets and markets, economic analysis and opportunity assessment, community outreach, and business-government relations on a state, county, and local level.
     
  • Development of a Preliminary and Final Smart Growth Redevelopment and Implementation Action Plan
    The review and evaluation activity outlined above will result first in a preliminary, and then a final comprehensive report detailing all findings and recommendations for the overall Smart Growth Redevelopment plan, including a step-by-step implementation plan. The preliminary report will focus on the market reality and financial feasibility of the project. After a positive preliminary report, the project plan will identify all recommended activities, key subtasks, and associated timelines, and provide a draft budget based on the expected resources required to complete each work step.
     
  • Ongoing Project Management Services
    Critical follow-up activities, such as project monitoring, project administration, and administration of developer agreement(s), are conducted on a continual basis to assure that Smart Growth goals are successfully met in a timely manner.
